The Cliff Notes:

  • There are three reasons why people find themselves procrastinating: no clarity, no accountability, and community.
  • Different parts of you have to align in order to achieve success. An example would be your conscious mind, aligning with your unconscious mind.
  • If you don’t know what you are aiming for, it most likely will never happen.
  • If you cannot identify an end goal from a task you want or need to complete, you will most likely procrastinate.
  • If you don’t speak your desires, there is almost zero chance you will accomplish them.
  • The average person has around five best friends in their lifetime.
  • Sharing your transformation can change the way others perceive you — in a good way!
  • Some people get stuck in a singular view, which can negatively impact their growth in the long run.
  • Transforming your unhelpful habits will result in more positive outcomes for you.
  • Empowering context makes you want to do something to the best of your ability.
  • If you do not have an empowering context, you WILL procrastinate.
  • In order to optimize self-motivation, you will NEED an empowering context.
  • Those who procrastinate will always make excuses for why they are not doing it, instead of just doing it.
  • Being late + an excuse does NOT equal being on time.
  • In order to stop the process of procrastination, you will need to develop a sense of urgency.
  • Problems are constant throughout life, and will always arise in whatever situation you are in.

“If you’re doing something just to go through the motions then you shouldn’t be doing it at all.”
