“It's time to stop talking and fantasizing about your dream life; just start living it”. – Guy & Ilan Ferdman

Does fear keep you from dealing with certain emotions and situations? Or are you desiring to learn how to deal with fears and phobias?

Fear can be crippling and uncomfortable. Being fearless does not mean that you are eliminating fear. It means knowing how to lower the level of fear. It is hardwired inside your brain; many Neuroscientists have found that distinctive networks travel from the limbic system to the cortex and back. When these networks are chemically and electrically stimulated, they cause fear.

In today’s episode, we’re discussing how to re-build your brain’s fear response and see every obstacle as a growth experience. Experiencing fear is neither a sign of weakness and nor abnormal. The capacity to hold fear is a part of normal brain functioning. And the lack of fear might be a sign of severe brain damage.

Horrifying events usually leave a permanent mark on the circuitry of your brain, and to overcome that, you might need professional assistance. Anxiety and chronic stress can seriously harm your mental and physical health over time.

Fear is partly learned, part instinct, and partly taught. We are afraid of specific places, people, and situations because of past experiences and negative associations. Your fear response can amplify if your baseline is already in a state of fear.

Check out this episode to learn new rules on how to deal with fear and several other ways to recover from its effects.
