Listening to others isn’t always an easy task. We think we are being good listeners by providing unsolicited feedback. How about when we talk to clients on the phone about work? We don’t realize the agendas we are pushing when it comes to making a sale or having a conversation. There are so many ways to ruin a potentially good conversation. What if we told you the best way to communicate, is to not talk at all?
Walk away from today’s lesson better off than how you were when you arrived. If you truly want to help others, you will begin to listen to them and absorb what they are telling you, without talking back as much. As human beings, we can sense an agenda. If you think you’re sneaky when it comes to making a sale and hiding your agenda, you aren’t. We can sense it! Take the advice we have to offer today and use it to strengthen your communication skills, whether it be personally or professionally applied.

The conversation you had in your head about how you need to talk to people isn’t the right way to go about discussing things with others.
You get disappointed when you don’t meet your agendas, but there doesn’t need to be any.
If you want to serve people, get more input, knowledge, and experience.
The only people who point out typos on websites either proofread or will never buy something.
